Week 11 - October 21-25, 2013

Hello,

Week 11. Wow! We are getting pretty close to Christmas. Next week we will already begin practicing the nativity for the Christmas pageant as this will take a time for the kids to prepare for.

Motor skills - writing the letter Kk. The vocabulary I use with the students for big K is "top, bottom, top, in to middle, a little up, down and out." For small k I say "top, bottom, middle, in, a little up, bottom and out." So far this is working.
Phonics - The letter Aa. Listen and look for the letter in a short story.
Language Arts - Talk to the students about people and remind them that there are grown ups and kids. Tell them that there are grown up animals and kid animals. Read "Moo moo, Brown Cow" and help the students see the name for the grown up animal and then the kid animal.
Dance class - cancelled this week, review of past material.
